The next 16 May 2019, the International Maritime Law Seminar will be held for its second time in Singapore. One more year, San Simon & Duch will co-host the event together with different leading international maritime law firms coming from different jurisdictions.
For more than ten years the International Maritime Law Seminar (www.internationallawseminar.com) has been held annually in London. With an average attendance of more than 250 Insurance and Maritime Law specialists, the International Maritime Law Seminar has grown from a small event to one of the most heavily anticipated legal seminars in London.
After the huge success of the inaugural seminar in Singapore in 2018, we are delighted to be back again in Singapore. This year’s theme is “Recent Development in Maritime Law around the World.”
The International Maritime Law Seminar is a half day complimentary event, that will take place at the beautiful Asian Civilisation Museum. This year we will have thirteen speakers, addressing recent developments in maritime and transport law within their respective jurisdictions.
Our colleague Diego de San Simón will have the honor to be speaker, giving a presentation on the “Validity of jurisdiction clauses in bills of lading under Spanish law: Recent developments from the Courts of Appeal”.
The seminar will be divided into three sessions and presentations will be provided by some of the most recognized and qualified international attorneys in the field of maritime law.
