INTERNATIONAL MARITIME LAW SEMINAR 2018

LONDRES | INTERNATIONAL MARITIME LAW SEMINAR 2018,

El International Maritime Law Seminar (IMLS), organizado por San Simón & Duch junto otros despachos internacionales, es un evento que se celebra anualmente en la ciudad de Londres con el objetivo de analizar la actualidad legal de la industria marítima. Los ponentes del seminario son abogados de reconocido prestigio de los principales despachos de abogados maritimistas de todo el mundo, y sus moderadores son igualmente personas de igual prestigio en el sector del seguro marítimo.

El IMLS fue fundado en 2006 por Luis de San Simón de España, Ricardo Rozas de Chile y Vincent M. DeOrchis de los Estados Unidos. Desde entonces, el grupo se ha ido ampliando hasta contar en la actualidad con ponentes de 14 países distintos de los cinco continentes. El IMLS ha cubierto temas críticos como la resolución y ejecución de contratos en tiempos económicos adversos, la gestión de grandes siniestros, el embargo preventivo de buques o la responsabilidad en el sector marítimo.

El IMLS 2017 tendrá lugar el próximo jueves 4 de octubre de 2018 en Gibson Hall (13 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 3BA United Kingdom) a partir de las 11:30 am, y se espera una asistencia media de más de 250 especialistas del Derecho Marítimo y Derecho del Seguro.

Por San Simón & Duch, intervino como ponente Mercedes Duch, quien analizará la posición española sobre los límites de responsabilidad para yates.
